Defending Champion Elliott Boots will start on pole in tomorrow’s juciy-looking ‘A’ Semi final, with close on-track rival David Ronnefalk 2nd on the grid and Robert Batlle 3rd.
Boots started out by TQ’ing the first round of qualifying, before Davide Ongaro sprung a surprise to claim Q2 and David Ronnefalk took round 3 yesterday setting the fastest run of the day. With a first, 2nd and 3rd to his name Boots looked strong, whilst Darren Bloomfield showed impressive consistency, ending up 2nd overall tied on points with Ronnefalk, however it was Boots who clearly ate his weetabix this morning as he stormed to TQ in both rounds ending up overall TQ at the end of Q4, and then almost proving a point by setting the fastest time throughout qualifying in round 5, as well as fastest lap.
